Update 4.0.1 expands Quick Dungeon Crawler’s endgame with five additional Curse Levels, matching Equipment Tiers, and clearer progression rules.
Curse Levels 11-15
Curse Levels now extend to Level 15.
- Curse Levels 2-10 are unlocked by reaching Floor 10 on your highest unlocked Curse.
- Curse Levels 11-15 are unlocked one at a time by defeating the Dungeon Monarch on your highest unlocked Curse.
- The allocation screen now shows your unlocked progress, explains both unlock paths, and labels unavailable Curse Levels clearly.
Existing Curse progress is preserved, and the selected Curse is restored correctly when a run starts.
Equipment Tiers 11-15
Equipment progression now matches the expanded Curse system:
- Curse Levels 11-15 can generate Equipment Tiers 11-15.
- Existing Tier 1-10 equipment remains valid.
- Equipment Level is still capped at 100, keeping level and tier progression separate.
- Stat rerolls and Forge merges retain the correct equipment tier.
Better Dungeon Monarch Rewards
Defeating the Dungeon Monarch now guarantees an equipment drop with Heirloom rarity. Higher Curse Levels also make the Monarch the key to unlocking the next stage of endgame progression.
More Control in The Forge
When combining three compatible items, you can now choose the gear piece you want to create. The result still follows the existing rarity, tier, and level rules, but forging is less dependent on a random equipment category.
Combat and Balance Improvements
- Special abilities can be queued while an attack is resolving and will activate as soon as they are ready.
- Endgame enemy scaling has been adjusted for Curse Levels 11-15.
- Level-up and Companion Charm stat ranges have received additional balance passes.
- A new stats help panel explains the values shown in the player stats interface.
Thank you for all the feedback that helped shape this endgame update!
