Update 4.2.3 is a small quality-of-life patch with two changes, both inside screens you use every run.

The Forge remembers your target

Crafting in the Forge means picking a Crafted Gear Piece (for example a Sword or Plate), filling three material slots, and merging. Until now, every finished merge reset the target selection too, so crafting several pieces of the same kind meant choosing it over and over.

From this update, the merge clears only the consumed materials and the preview — your chosen gear piece stays selected, and the next three materials can go straight into the slots.

Bulk sell gold, formatted

The bulk sell dialog introduced in 4.2.2 shows what a stash clean-up is worth before you commit. Large amounts were printed as raw digits; now the preview uses the same abbreviation as the rest of the game:

  • Before: Sell 24 items for 165844 gold?
  • Now: Sell 24 items for 165.84k gold? — the same formatting the gold counter, XP bar, and stat displays have always used.

No save migration is needed — existing runs continue unchanged.
